New DSi

If someone told you that you can get a new DSi with the same amount money as buying NDSL, what will you do? Or, if someone told you that DSi is incompatible with Current FlashCards, will you buy it?
Since DSi is published days ago, fans can not help themself to own this new console. Adding Mini camera function and thinner shape, this new Nintendo product surely attracted many eyeballs. But for those DS gamers who are keen on flashcard playing, this dsi may disappointed them. 10 different slot-1 flash cards have been tested on the Nintendo DSi by hacken.cc and all ten failed to be compatible.
I quoted some sentences from Myds to prove this" The popular R4 flash card failed to automatically launch (which it is programed to do) and then did not appear at all in the DSi main menu. The EZ Flash V (which is not programed to auto launch) did show up in the menu, but then produced an error message when attempting to boot the card. Any solutions such as if flash card prevention can be turned off, or if firmware modifications such as FlashMe can work around the issue are yet to be determined. "
See how Nintendo are going to do this time when push out a new console? As more and more slot-1 cards are hitting its market profit, Nintendo had no solution but publishing dsi to kill these flashcard.
Anyway, man are smart enough. Flashcard gamers have to keep patience, because the new firmware will be updated in the future.
